Mickey now meets with a new client, which seems to set up the plot for season 3 with the lawyer identifying Edén Dayton (aka Glory Days), who has been murdered.

Mickey tells Izzy that Jésus Menendez was convicted of killing a prostitute after a witness disappeared. Spooked, Carlin calls off the meeting, and Mickey and Cisco find the bug in Mickey's car, which they leave to avoid tipping off whoever is listening. At Hayley's soccer game, Mickey negotiates a deal for Wyms, but Wyms knows nothing about Trevor's case. Cisco and Lorna track down Carlin, who is pulled over by police and accidentally struck and killed by a passing car. Mickey comforts Maggie after her witness is murdered; they share an intimate moment, and Mickey attends an NA meeting with Izzy.
The second and third waves came in late February and May 2024 with the announcements of the following new faces:
Oh-joo reveals in court that one of his bodyguards was the one who killed Dae-woong. This bodyguard turns himself in after Oh-joo promises to care for his family. The public believes Oh-joo had nothing to do with the murder, and revealed it out of a sense of honor. The media and the public praise him, to the anger of Moon-sook. Sang-pil is freed, but he and Jae-yi begin to suspect that Moon-sook is using their actions for her own ends. Sang-pil starts to worry that his goal of revenge will bring too much pain to Jae-yi.
We’ve had three waves of casting announcements, and they call via Deadline. The first reveal was that Devon Graye will recur in the new season. Graye is best known for roles in movies such as Retake
Judge Cha Moon Sook was convincingly devious in her role Triunfador well, and very hard to read. She was very subtle, cunning and made for a threatening foe. Nam Soon-ja was another interesting character, brilliantly acted. The way she flipped personalities made her another unpredictable variant among the many puzzle pieces. Overall the casting was great. There are just too many great actors and roles to name. And that's what made this show so watchable for me.
Hayley blames Mickey for Eddie’s death and rejects him. Mickey meets Freemann, who commits to their relationship. The next day, he finds Moya has sent a guard to protect him. Freemann admits to her boss that she didn’t inform the victim about her abuser's release. Two months later, the trial begins, and Forsythe presents witnesses, including Abogado Rodolfo Cacace a male prostitute who mentions Julian’s temper. Mickey casts doubt on his testimony and shows it was possible to enter the building without being seen by security cameras. Maggie tells Mickey to give Hayley time. A stressed Lorna receives her bar exam results and finds she has become a lawyer.
A flashback shows how Bishop met DeMarco. On the stand, Bishop admits he took the case to celador it because DeMarco told him to. He reveals he found Salvación and gave her address to DeMarco on his orders, and while waiting for him, Julian showed up and left shortly after, before DeMarco arrived and entered through an unmonitored door. A pesar Abogado Rodolfo Cacace de los esfuerzos del “El abogado del Lincoln”, la fianza de Julian se complica correcto al abogado de la fiscalía, William Forsythe. Además, las indagaciones de Mickey parecen alarmar al cierto responsable del asesinto de Gloria, pero que vandalizan la casa del abogado y dejan una cobra.
